Floola allows you to get rid of iTunes to manage your iPod, simply and for free.
Floola doens’t even require any setup. It is an executable that can be launched from your computer (on which you need iTunes to be installed and used at least once to sync your iPod), and it can retrieve all the data from your library as well as iTunes does.

With Floola, you can extract or add songs to your iPod, search for files, play music and use a lot more practical features : copy from the iPod to your PC/Mac, manage covers, subscribe to podcasts, use Last.fm, convert automatically your files with uncompatible formats, add lyrics (even on an iPod 3G) or download, conversion and add automatically videos from YouTube or Dailymotion !
Attention, Floola is not compatible with the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

The application, available in different languages, doens’t require any installation and eases filesharing, such as playlists.
